The Department of Health in Quang Ngai Province has announced that 47 others are currently being treated in hospitals in the province, three of whom are in serious condition.

The General Hospital in the province has been using the blood filtering machine for treatment of the unidentified skin disease. The machine helps to eliminate toxic substances from the blood, and revive patients suffering from liver and other organ function disorders.

At present, 26 patients are being treated for the bizarre skin disease in the hospital. With the blood filtering machine, it is hoped that the number of patients being transferred to the central hospitals in big cities will greatly reduce.
