5cm tumor removed from female’s brain

A team of surgeons Neurosurgery Department of the Xuyen A (Trans-Asia) General Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City’s Cu Chi District March 8 performed a surgery to remove the tumor from 53-year-old woman from the Mekong delta province of Tien Giang Province.

The woman’s relative said that she experienced terrible headache half year ago though she was examined and took medications, yet her condition did not abate. Within one recent month, she suffered more terrible headache and eyesight began to fail and her legs became weak.

Consequently, she arrived at the infirmary for examination and treatment on March 4. Through scan, doctors verified her left brain has a big tumor.

She was advised to undergo an operation to remove the tumor and she was treated by Xuyen A hospital's doctors.

The woman recovered after the surgery and her vision and her climb are being improved.
