University of Science in Hanoi under the Vietnam National University (VNU) has just undertaken education quality evaluation under the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) criteria, becoming the first university in the Southeast Asian region to be evaluated for quality as per AUN-QA.
At a ceremony held in Hanoi to announce the AUN-QA’s evaluation mechanism of universities’ performance.
AUN Executive Director Prof. Dr. Nantana Gajaseni said that the evaluation aims to consolidate training quality and review the system’s effectiveness to ensure the quality.
In the period 2012-2015, the Vietnamese school provide six training programs evaluated by AUN-QA including bachelors of chemistry, biology, mathematics, physics, geography, and environment science
