Vietnamese students win medals at Int’l Physics Olympiad

Five Vietnamese students participated in the International Physics Olympiad in Denmark, of which two won gold medals, one won a silver and two won bronze medals.

The two gold medals were won by Bui Quang Tu from the Hanoi-Amsterdam High School and Ngo Phi Long from Son La Specialized High School in Son La Province.

The silver medal went to My Duy Hoang Long from Lam Sơn Specialized High School in Thanh Hoa Province, and two bronze medals were won by Le Duy Anh from Lam Son Specialized High School, and Tran Thi Thu Huong from Le Hong Phong Specialized High School in Nam Dinh Province.

At the welcome ceremony, Tran Quang Quy, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Education and Training, congratulated all five students and expressed his pleasure with their excellent performance.

Deputy Minister Tran Quang Quy also hoped that Department Leaders would create the best conditions for these students in their learning and work in the future.
