Four Vietnamese students won silver and bronze medals at the 23rdInternational Biology Olympiad held in Singapore from July 7-16.
Among the winners was Nguyen Thu Trang, a twelfth-grade student of Le Hong Phong High School in Nam Dinh Province, who received a silver medal.
Nguyen Thi Hai Anh, an eleventh-grade student from Vinh Phuc High School in Vinh Phuc Province; Nguyen Thi Hong Ngoc, a twelfth-grade student from a High School of Hanoi University of Pedagogy; and Tran Duc Huy, a twelfth-grade student from Le Hong Phong High School in Nam Dinh Province, received bronze medals.
The 23rd International Biology Olympiad attracted around 234 students from 63 countries and territories.
