The deputy principal said that school managers in the central province of Ha Tinh’s Thach Ha District would report to the higher department to give seventh grader Nguyen Van Chuong and eighth grader Nguyen Phi Anh the certificate of merit.
The day before yesterday, on February 16, two high schoolers Chuong and Anh were riding past 5-meter canal N1 through Quy Linh village, they saw first grader Le Tran Quang Truong and second grader Nguyen Tien Thanh nearly drowning.
Chuong and Anh were quick to pull the two kids from the deep end of the canal.
