As per the Department’s suggestion, senior high schools  required schoolgirls to wear the traditional suit at least two days a week to raise the beautiful image of Vietnamese girls.

It is part of a guidline from People’s Committee Deputy Chairman Tran Vinh Tuyen, who wants to encourage state employees and girls in schools to wear the traditional suit.

Currently, most female students in senior high schools wear ao dai on Mondays.
