Scholarship encourages ethnic schoolgirls

The VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) in cooperation with the Hanoi-based Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund kicked off the second phase of the Brighter Path project, which provides scholarships to 50 ethnic schoolgirls in the country.

The scholarships, worth VND220 million each, aim to support female disadvantaged students with the excellent academic results covering tuition fees, books, accommodation, food, and uniform costs.
The allowance will be offered during seven years, including three years of high school and 4-year Colleges/Universities.
46 ethnic female students received the scholarships in the first phase of Brighter Path project. Among them, 24 graduated students have already found job and 12 students continued to further their education in law, medicine, economics, and other fields in 2017-2018.
