Prudential-Good Essay, Good Writing Contest’ 2013 has come to the end and the organizers announced 18 winners in the city-level contest on October 13 .
Pham Duy Tan from Minh Duc secondary school in District 1 won the first prize to the 6th and 7th grade category.
Tran Khanh Vy of Nguyen Van To junior high school in District 10 got the second prize. The third place went to Nguyen Lam Thuy Puong of Nguyen Van Luong secondary school in District 6 and Duong Kim Phung from Tan Tao secondary school in Binh Tan District.
Nguyen Ha Bao Thy, Lam Quang Quynh Anh, Nguyen Thi Van Anh, Nguyen Thi My Tuyen and Ho Hong Thanh Truc from junior high schools including Tran Quoc Toan in District 9, Le Quy Don in District 3, Le Anh Xuan and Thoai Ngoc Hau in Tan Phu District, and Minh Duc in District 1 took encouragement prizes.
In the 8th and 9th grade category, Chau Hue Mai, a student of Hoang Le Kha secondary school in District 6 won the first prize Pham Nguyen Thuc Huyen of Dong Khoi junior high school in Tan Phu District took the second prize.
The third positions belonged to Luu Ngoc Huyen Tran of Tung Thien Vuong secondary school in District 8, and Cao Tran Doan Nghi of Nguyen Van To secondary school in District 10.
Encouragement prizes were given to Thai Ngoc Gia Phuc of Nguyen Du School in Go Vap District, Le Huynh An Thuy of Chu Van An School in District 11, Thai Ngoc Thanh Tuyen of Dong Den School in Binh Chanh District, Le Anh Thi of Dong Thanh School and Nguyen Huynh Hue Xuan of Phan Cong Hon School in Hoc Mon District.
Organizing board said the award ceremony will be held at HCM City Youth’s Cultural House on October 27.
“Prudential-Good Essay, Good Writing” Contest is co-organized each year by Life Insurer Prudential Vietnam and Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper.
