Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung ordered to focus on upgrading two cooperated schools available and not set up any new schools in the form of cooperation between two governments.
The government headquarter yesterday sent its document that Vietnamese PM Nguyen Tan Dung's request to promote Vietnam National University in Hanoi and in Ho Chi Minh City into leading schools in Vietnam from now to 2020.
Moreover, in the next time, the PM ordered to upgrading Viet Duc (Vietnam-German) school; University of Science and Technology in Hanoi and Viet Nhat ( Vietnam - Japan) school into international level schools.
The document said that no new school in the form of cooperation between Vietnamese government and other nation's government will be established in the next time.
In related news, on occasion of new academic year, Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee President Nguyen Thien Nhan yesterday visited and had a talk to lecturers and students of Hanoi University.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nhan said that the school not only teach students foreign languages, and theory to students but also nurture amongst the love for Vietnamese language and the country's culture.
The school should have changes in teaching to train students and honor and encourage lecturers to do their best in teaching. The school should both improve students' foreign language to meet international integration and understand Vietnamese language better.
In his tour to his old school, Mr. Nhan talked in German with students and lecturers of German faculty where he studied in 70s.
