The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has honored RMIT International University Vietnam with a Certificate of Merit in recognition of 10 years of outstanding achievement.
Minister of Education and Training, Prof. Dr. Pham Vu Luan has signed the certificate of appreciation. Nguyen Thanh Huyen, Deputy Director of International Cooperation Department, part of the Ministry of Education and Training, presented the certificate to Professor Margaret Gardner, RMIT University’s Vice Chancellor and President, on November 27 in Hanoi.
The Certificate has been given to RMIT for its outstanding achievements in the development and operations of the University on the occasion of the 10th anniversary 2001-2011.
Professor Gardner said that she was delighted and deeply honored to be recognized in such a way.
RMIT Vietnam’s President, Professor Merilyn Liddell, said the Certificate was an honor that would be shared by a team of more than 500 Vietnamese and foreign staff. In receiving this honor, we know it must be shared by many staff - both past and present - who have made very important contributions to the success and reputation we have come to enjoy in Vietnam,”
