The Ministry of Education and Training and the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) signed a memorandum of agreement for 2014-2018 on April 7.
PetroVietnam will annually donate to construct kindergartens and junior school dormitories in northern provinces, highlands provinces, and southwest provinces.
The company will also build housing structures for education staff working in poverty. Winners of local and international Olympiad chemistry and science contests will receive prizes from the company.
The ministry will coordinate with the company to train employees for petroleum industry work. They will also coordinate to upgrade two Vietnam Petroleum Institute facilities.
