A pre-university course for Lao students at the National University Ha Noi was inaugurated in the capital yesterday.
The inauguration ceremony was organized by the Saigon Invest Group, the Lao Embassy, and the Foreign Language School of the National University Ha Noi.
On the occasion, Saigon Invest Group granted scholarships worth US$2 million to about 110 Lao students to attend university and pre-university courses from 2008 to 2013.
The scholarships are part of the group’s Friendship Scholarship Program. This is the largest assistance program for Lao students offered by a Vietnamese enterprise.
