Hue’s student wins 16th “Road to Mt. Olympia's Peak" quiz show

Ho Dac Thanh Chuong of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted in Hue City, Thua Thien-Hue Province won the championship at the 16th season of the “Road to Mt. Olympia's Peak" quiz show which ended in Hanoi on August 21.

Ho Dac Thanh Chuong of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted in Hue City, Thua Thien-Hue Province won the championship at the 16th season of the “Road to Mt. Olympia's Peak" quiz show which ended in Hanoi on August 21.

He received a scholarship worth US$ 35,000. 

Chuong outdistanced other competitors with a highest point of 340, including Lam Vu Tuan from Le Hong Phong Gifted High School in Nam Dinh who ranked the second place with a total point of 250.

Le Duy Bach of Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted and Phan Tien Tung of Nguyen Du High School for the Gifted in Dak Lak Province shared the third position.

Chuong is the second student of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted that was crowned at the contest. Ho Ngoc Han became the first student of the high school as was winner at the 9th season of the “Road to Mt. Olympia's Peak" quiz show.

The "Road to Olympia Peak” was started in 1999 as the country biggest knowledge contest and launched by VTV3 and sponsored by LG Electronics for high schoold students nationwide.
