Thirteen teams from provinces in the Mekong Delta comprising of 78 junior high school students who won prizes in the provincial contests have gathered in Tien Giang Province to participate in the regional final round of the ‘Prudential-Good Essay, Good Writing Contest’ to take place on Saturday.
Associate Professor PhD Hoang Van Can, Vice Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, is the Chairman of the jury panel which comprises of 31 judges.
Two co-chairmen are Journalist Nguyen Tan Phong, Editor-in-Chief of Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper, and Meritorious Teacher Nguyen Hong Oanh, Director of the Department of Education and Training in Tien Giang Province.
The other 26 judges are from 13 provinces in the Mekong Delta.
A ceremony to announce the results will take place on Sunday.
“Prudential-Good Essay, Good Writing” Contest is co-organized each year by Life Insurer Prudential Vietnam and Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper.
