Each was given a scholarship worth VND15 million ($644) in four or five year studying in high education facilities.
Additionally, scholarship receivers can enjoy soft skill courses for learning more careers.
Student Nguyen Thi Ngoc Trinh of Ho Chi Minh City-based Technology University’s Electricity Faculty said she dreams to make design for the national grid system safely to curb work accident in the sector.
To fulfil the dream, Trinh has tried her best to overcome daily difficulties. She said the scholarships motivate her in pursuing study to achieve the dream.
Meantime, student Nguyen Hong Khanh from Marketing Finance University in HCMC takes part in charity activities to raise fund for low-income families. She dreams to set up an advert company to give assistance to more people in the community.
Set up since 2007, the scholarship has given motivation to hundreds of freshmen in high education facilities in HCMC and neighboring provinces.
