College, firms jointly provide training to students

Thu Duc College of Technology yesterday signed agreements with enterprises to jointly provide training to students of social media and IT.

As per the agreement, the school will deliver 30 percent of theories to students while students’ skills and work attitude will be trained by firms.
It is a new training model in Vietnam which carried out early 2018 and the school is the first facility to implement this while it is popular in German.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Principal Nguyen Thi Ly said that the school has liaised with four famous companies including Phuong Nam telecommunication company, Bach Khoa Equipment provider, CMC company and Song Nam Solution company to send 26 students of the first course to companies.
After the course wraps up, students will be admitted to work in companies without being re-trained.
Representative of Song Nam Solution company Ho Hoang Minh advocated the training model adding that interns will be considered as apprentices; accordingly, the company will teach them and admit them into company after the internship.
