Ben Tre Province will host the annual Mekong Delta “Prudential-Good Essay, Good Writing” contest 2015, according to the press conference of the competition in Can Tho City on September 22.
This year’s competition will be held in cities and provinces in the region. Contestants will compete in the district and provincial levels before taking part in the regional final round.
The Mekong Delta “Prudential-Good Essay, Good Writing” contest has attracted more and more students every year. The competition aims to encourage literature, reading and good essay writing amongst students, help them to bring out their sensitivity and creativity of expression.
The contest is being co-organized by the Prudential Life insurance company in Vietnam and Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper with support from the education & training departments in the delta provinces and cities.
The regional final round will take place in Ben Tre on November 28-29.
On the occasion, the Prudential Life insurance company in Vietnam gave 60 computers and 60 mini laptops to the education and training departments in the delta provinces and cities; offering 50 scholarships worth VND 1miilion of each to disadvantaged students of Ben Tre.
