Young violinist Do Phuong Nhi to perform at Hanoi concert

Young violinist Do Phuong Nhi will give a performance featuring masterpieces of classical music of Johannes Brahms's violin at Hanoi Opera House on January 4, 2019.

She will perform the Brahms Violin Concerto, D-major, Op.77; and Brahms Symphony no.1, C-minor, Op.68 together with artists of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Japanese conductor Tetsuji Honna.
Nhi was born in 1998 in a family with musical traditions. Her parents are violinists and her uncle is famous songwriter Le Minh Son. She began studying the violin at the tender age of four under the tutelage of her parents and veteran artist Ngo Van Thanh.
After joining in the Toyota Concert Tour 2013, Nhi has received a scholarship studying at Barratt Due Institute of Music, Oslo, Norway for 4 years.
She won first prize in her class at the Sparre Olsen competition for young talents in Gjøvik. 
Nhi was invited to performed Max Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor together with the Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra of the U.S. at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins, Colorado in 2016.
