The artist together with bands, the Stay The Time and the Net Viet will present to music lovers Vietnamese traditional musical works which are mixed with contemporary style.
Tri Nguyen began studying the piano at age five. After graduation from the Music Conservatory of Ho Chi Minh City, he continued his studies at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris.
Tri is a master of the piano and Vietnamese zither. His concerts are unique moments where the piano repertoire is followed by melodies from the distant past of Vietnam, revived by Tri’s passionate desire to preserve and promote Vietnamese folk music.
Tri has performed in Vietnam, the United States and Europe. He received the USA Global Music Award’s Gold Medal for World Music in 2015 and the Akademia Music Awards 2015. The musician released albums, including Beyond Borders, A Journey Between Worlds and Consonnances.
This is his third solo performance in Ho Chi Minh City.
