Vietnamese cook to participate in Korean int’l cooking contest

The Korean cooking contest in Vietnam opened for chefs and students of cooking schools who love Korean food.

At the contest, the competitors showed cooking skills for typical Korean foods, including  Bibimbap, Japchae, Bulgogi, and Tteokbokki.

An will have a chance to enjoy a 9-day Korean cooking class and  travel to the Republic of Korea (RoK) to take part in the international cooking contest in Seoul from July 22-23. He will have to compete against competitors from 20 countries, such as Malaysia, China, Japan, Indonesia, the US and others for a 10,000-USD cash prize. Apart from that, the contest’s winner will become an honorable Ambassador promoting Korean gastronomy to the world.
