Now a promoter in the form of D&D Advertising is trying to sign up more Korean luminaries like Seven, BoA and Kanta.

D&D’s director, Mr. Nguyen Trong Ngoc, says that if all goes well the three Koreans will be in Viet Name for concerts this June.

The negotiations are proceeding smoothly though some of the details still need to be worked out like advertising, audio and lighting equipment.

BoA is Boa Kwon, a 21-year-old who is surfing the leading edge of the Korean wave and has won dozens of Korean and international awards. Besides her mother tongue, she is fluent in Japanese and speaks a little English. A poll by MBC TV rated her among the station’s top ten singers.

Seven’s real name is Choi Dong-Wook, who was born on November 9, 1984. He sings pop and R&B. Since his successful debut in 2003, he has become popular throughout Asia and released five albums and numerous singles.

D&D is also trying to sign up top-line acts from other parts of the globe and has already scheduled a concert by the world’s top DJs in Ho Chi Minh City on August 22.
