Thanh tra grapefruit Festival 2018 is a good chance for the locality to seek partners in consumption of the fruit and other local agricultural products.
Within the framework of the festival, varied activities will be organized including showcasing products made from Thanh tra grapefruit and other Hue’s specialties, culinary competition, delicious fruits contest; introducing Thanh tra grapefruit trees; folk games and traditional art performance.
On the occasion, travel agents and gardeners will have a meeting to connect and develop community-based tours and eco-tours in Thuy Bieu ward.
At present, 800 households are growing Thanh tra grapefruit in total area of over 147 hectares in Thuy Bieu ward. The grapefruit is considered as one of typical specialties of Hue.
With the aim to improve the quality and promote branding of Thanh tra grapefruit, People’s Committee of Hue City has hosted contests of designing local souvenir gifts and packaging of Thanh tra grapefruit products.
