A contemporary dance performance featuring choreographer Le Mai Anh and Pham Dieu Huong will take place at L’Espace Hanoi on December 3.
Talent choreographers present contemporary dance performance in Hanoi
The performance themed Lo (road) shows the future, the past and the purpose of life.
Performer, choreographer Le Mai Anh graduated with distiction from Vocational Ballet School of Ho Chi Minh City, studied at Compagnie Hellet Eghayan in Lyon, France; and RICD (Rencontres Internationales de Danse Contemporaine, Paris, France). She is currently teaching contemporary dance at RICD. The artist has worked with many famous choreographers and dance troupes: Thomas Hejlensen (2003); Harry Albert (2004); Françoise Dupuy (2010); “1er Mars” (2010-2015) and choreographers Agnès Pancrassin; Kerman Sébastien Ly (2016-2017).
Visual artist, choreographer Pham Dieu Huong is dancers of the 4ème Sous Sol and the Diminutomax, ins Paris, France from 2002-2008. She choreographed and performed many contemporary dance performances, such as “Dualité” at Paris Contemporary Dance Festival “Ici et demain”; “Palimpsestes” at European Dance Festival “Rencontre chorégraphique” in Paris, France in 2005-2007, and others.
Huong was a judge of Asia Pacific Arts & Culture in 2012, International judge at the Final round of the 7th Jeux de la Francophonie in Nice, France in 2013; arts and culture expert of Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF); founder and choreographer of CUCA Dance Atelier in 2013; choreographers and consultant for many art performances in public events in Vietnam.
