A symphony concert titled “Russian night” featuring pianist Vu Ngoc Linh and violinist Bui Cong Duy will be held at the HCMC Opera House on May 9.

Conductors Tran Nhat Minh and Nguyen Anh Son of the HCMC Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO), who have been trained in Russia, will perform a Violin Concerto in D Major, the 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky, the rhapsody theme of Paganini by Sergei Rachmaninov and “Dawn on the Moscow River” by Modest Mussorgsky from the opera ‘Khovanshina’.
The concert will begin at 8 p.m. at the HCMC Opera House, 7 Lam Son Square, District 1.
