'New Journey to the West' Season 4 was filmed in the mountainous resort town of Sa Pa in the northern province of Lao Cai.
In this new season, participants, including Kyun Hyun -member of the South Korean band Super Junior, Mino- member of the boy group Winner, actor Ahn Jae Hyun, South Korean television host and comedian Kang Ho Dong, Eun Ji Won of the '90s boy group Sechs Kies and South Korean comedian Lee Su Geun faced various challenges and missions as they traveled across Vietnam.
‘New Journey to The West’ is a South Korean travel-reality show that has been broadcast online via Naver TVCast from September 4, 2015. The show re-unites celebrities who are Korean former stars, each take one of the characters from the classic Chinese novel “Journey to the West” as they go on a 5-days and 4 night backpacking trip to play various games
