Featuring famous Australian artists including Regurgitator, Rock ‘n’ Roll, the Bad Neighbors, and Mojo Webb, the festival starting from 2pm will also be attended by famed local singers like Ho Ngoc Ha and Vietnam Idol 2007 Phuong Vy.

Food, beverages, a culinary show and other picnic activities for participating families will too be available.

Proceeds from the event will be donated towards supporting orphans, visually-impaired and mentally-challenged children in suburban districts. Around US$55,000 was raised by last year's Loreto Fest.

The carnival is organized by Loreto Vietnam Australia Program (LVAP), an NGO founded in 1997 that has provided education projects for more than 6,000 underprivileged children.

Located at 702 Nguyen Van Linh Street - District 7, the RMIT International University Vietnam is part of the internationally-renowned Australian-based Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and has been awarded the “Golden Dragon Award" four times since 2003 for excellence in education by the Vietnamese Ministry of Trade.

Tickets for the show are available at ANZ Bank, the Australian Embassy, HCMC International School, RMIT International University Vietnam and at www.loretofest.com.
