A photo exhibition titled “Hanoi in my mind" celebrating the 64th anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day (October 10) opened from October 9- 13 at the Temple of Literature in the capital.

This year’s event themed “Hanoi traditional handcraft streets and villages” displays 80 photos of traditional craft streets, such as Hang Trong with folk paintings, Hang Than with Banh Com (green rice flake cakes), Hang Duong with O Mai (salted fruit), Lo Ren with comfortable living forging instruments and farming equipment, Lan Ong Oriental medicine street; and traditional craft villages like Bat Trang pottery village, Van Phuc silk village and Kim Lan pottery village, Quat Dong embroidery craft village, Ngu Xa bronze casting village, Son Dong wood carving village, Chang Son paper fan making village.
The exhibition promoting the culture and exquisiteness of Hanoi is co-organized by the Kinh te & Do thi (Economics and Urban) newspaper, the Hanoi Elderly Photographers Club and the Centre for Scientific and Cultural Activities of the Temple of Literature.
