Nguyen Phuong Khanh crowned Miss Earth 2018

Nguyen Phuong Khanh of Vietnam was crowned Miss Earth 2018 Saturday night, beating out 87 others, on November 3 in Manila, the Philippines.

Khanh is the first Vietnamese to win the title. She also won a gold medal for Asia & Oceania region in the national costume round and a silver medal in the swimsuit competition.
Born in 1994, Khanh is 1.71m tall with body measurements of 90-58-94. She is studying Marketing at Curtin University, Singapore.
“We have so much technology, and we just use it for social media and we just care for ourselves. 'We should spend our time to think and feel what's happening with the Earth right now and when small actions multiplied by million people can transform the world”., Khanh answered a question from the panel of judges on the final night of the competition.
Minor titles, Miss Air 2018, Miss Water 2018 and Miss Fire 2018 went to Melanie Mader of Austria, Valeria Ayos of Colombia and Melissa Flores of Mexico respectively.
