New book commemorating Professor Tran Van Giau hits shelves

A book entitled “Professor Tran Van Giau and his works- Vietnamese people’s traditional spiritual value” has just been released on the occasion of the 5th death anniversary of late professor and People's Teacher Tran Van Giau.

A book entitled “Professor Tran Van Giau and his works- Vietnamese people’s traditional spiritual value” has just been released on the occasion of the 5th death anniversary of late professor and People's Teacher Tran Van Giau.

The book is published by the National Politics Truth Publishing House.

The book includes reports on the professor that were introduced at a seminar on the People’s Teacher. The event was organized in 2014 by the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Family History Studies and Phap Hoa Pagoda.

The book features the life and career of Professor Tran Van Giau; the national tradition and patriotism of Vietnamese people.

Professor Tran Van Giau was born on September 11, 1911 in the southern province of Long An. He has made great contributions to the country's southern resistance and liberation, is widely known among social science circles for his knowledge.

He has written more than 3,000 books on philosophy, history, culture and various other fields that are very informative for the young generation of today to study.

The teacher was granted many awards and titles, including Ho Chi Minh Order, First-class; Independence Order; Labor Hero; People's Teacher and Ho Chi Minh Award.
