Pop star My Tam won the 10th Music Devotion Awards 2015 that was held in Ho Chi Minh City Opera House on April 6.
It's the third time she has won the award. Tam was honored at the Music Devotion Awards in 2009 and 2011.
Singer Nguyen Tran Trung Quan won the “New artist of the year” title.
The “Monsoon Music Festival 2014” was honored in the category of series of the program of the year after the program beat against attractive programs such as My Tam’s Heart Beat, Ho Ngoc Ha Live Concert 2014, and Saxophonist Tran Manh Tuan and the orchestra”.
“Best series of music program” belonged to VTV-Motion Media for the monthly concert Giai Dieu Tu Hao (Melody of Pride).
Musician Pham Toan Thang bagged the “Best musician” for the song Bon chu lam (The four a lot). Moreover, the song performed by Truc Nhan and Thao Nhi also was named the “Song of the year”.
The annual award was organized by Newspaper of Sports and Culture, Vietnam New Agency. The prizes are voted by 100 culture and art journalists from different media agencies nationwide, honoring popular artists who have contributed the most to the development of the country’s music
