The library is divided into four areas; one for 6 to 10 year olds, one for 11 to 15 year olds, an area for 10 computers with broadband internet access and another area for group activities and exhibitions.

The library also has many CDs and more than 8,000 books in Vietnamese, English and French.

Children can read books on the premises or borrow them to read at home, surf the net, take part in art exhibitions, or try their luck in a story telling contest.

More than US$61,000 was invested in the new multimedia facility. Funds for the project were donated by the French General Consulate in HCMC and other international organizations.

The HCMC-San Francisco Co-operation Committee, the US’s Sabre Fund, and the Education Publishing House have also donated books, CDs and other resources to the facility.
