The event will present to readers more than 2 million copies with thousands of book titles in various genres such as literature, policy, history, science, society and more; and stationeries.
The book show will also include discussions and exchanges between writers and readers, exhibitions on Can Tho city’s development achievements.
More than 100 publishing houses throughout the country will join the festival with over 350 display booths.
On the occasion, the event’s organization board will launch a promotional program to support libraries in schools and rural areas.
Launched for the first time in 2015, Can Tho Book Festival has become the largest-scale book show in the region and one of the biggest book festival in the country. The organization board of the event expects to draw about 500,000 visitors.
