Lai Huong Thao, Miss Sport 2012, will represent Vietnam at the Miss Supranational beauty pageant in Poland that will take place from August 28 to September 14.
Lai Huong Thao, from the northern province of Quang Ninh, won the title of ‘Miss Sport 2012’ at a contest that ended at the Ba Na Hill Resort in the central coastal city of Da Nang on August 5. The 21-year-old beauty queen is presently a student of Hai Phong University.
Thao will wear Ao dai and evening gowns by fashion designers Vo Viet Chung and Hoang Hai at the pageant, while Lan Hanh Swimsuit and Sportswear Company and designer Luu Ngoc Kim Khanh will provide bikini and casual wears for her during the competition.
Thao has prepared performances of silk and paper fan dances for the category of ‘Miss Talent’.
Started in 2009, Miss Supranational is an annual international beauty contest run by the World Beauty Association. This year’s event will attract beauties from 60 countries around the world, all of who will compete for the crown.
