Kim Dung wins Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2017

Kim Dung, 24, from the nothern province of Nam Dinh was declared ‘Vietnam’s Next Top Model All Stars 2017” at the contest that ended on September 9 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The winner graduated from the University of Labor and Social Affairs in Hanoi is 1.79 metres tall with measures 79-62-91.
Dung received many valuable prizes, including a three year modelling contract with top Korean modelling agency YG KPLUS. She is also chosen to open the Vietnam International Fashion Week 2016 that will take place in Hanoi on November 1-5.
The final night of this year’s event saw a strong competition between the top three including Cha Mi, Kim Dung and Thuy Duong.
Actress Truong Ngoc Anh was chosen as the host of the 8th season of the reality TV model search, together with model Vo Hoang Yen as coach and , while makeup artist Nam Trung returned as creative director. The first episode of VNTM All Stars 2017 was aired on June 24 on VTV3.
‘Vietnam’s Next Top Model’ is the Vietnamese version of the US reality television show ‘America’s Next Top Model’ by CBS Studios International.
Contestants between 18 and 25 years of age, of minimum height 1.65m compete in a catwalk contest, present their talents and skills and participate in an interview with jury members.
The show is an opportunity for thousands of contestants to compete for the title of Vietnam’s Next Top Model and a platform to start a career in the modeling industry.
A total of 18 male and female models who qualified for the finals of the series of Vietnam’s Next Top Model live together in a house for two months, while cameras record their interpersonal relationships. The jury then chooses the winning contestant.
