Katsura Yamauchi is an avant-garde jazz saxman known for his minimal sheets of sound, headlines this triple-bill of experimental artists. Besides doing experimental music, he also spends a lot of time researching and producing short art-related films.

As one of the most unique musicians in Japan, Yamauchi was influenced by the new experimental sounds coming from Tokyo, but had developed his own original style, mixing improvisation and minimalism with melodic elements.

The perfromance also includes a 30-minute long screening of a short film that was directed, shot and written all by Katsura Yamauchi. The movie was produced in 2014.
