The Department of Culture, Sport & Tourism in Hoi An City in the central province of Quang Nam said Hoian lantern festival will be launched on December 31 at An Hoi Statue garden.
This is an annual event attracting more international tourists.
The New Year Festival 2016 is planned to take place on the same day with many exciting activities such as the award ceremony for the Hoian tourism clips' contest; fashion show... The city will welcome the 1.8millionth visitor to Quang Nam province.
On January 1, the final round of Jazz bands' contest in the province will be taken place at An Hoi Statue Garden, aiming to welcome tourists who touring to the city on the 1st day of New Year.
