The festival aims to mark the 63rd anniversary of the city’s Liberation Day (May 13). It includes a series of more than 50 economic,cultural, sport and tourism activities, such as painting exhibition, art performances, food festival, friendly football matche between the Colombian embassy in Hanoi and Hai Phong Football Club, kylin and dragon dance perfromances, inauguration of a monument temple for martyrs, and groundbreaking ceremonies of AEONMALL Hai Phong, Nguyen Van Linh overpass, a five-star hotel, and among.
The event is a chance to promote images of Hai Phong City and its people to domestic and foreign visitors and attract investment for the city’s socio-economic development.
