The annual event attracted over 50 publishing houses nationwide. It offers many sideline activities to visitors, such as discussions on copyright, translation; introduction of new and best-selling books; exchanges between authors and readers; and entertainment activities encouraging the reading habit.
Readers will have a chance to enjoy items up 40 percent off original prices.
On this occasion, the organization board has launched a program calling on readers to donate old books to students in Ta Gia Khau commune of Muong Khuong district, the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai. The program is expected to contribute to the budding 1,000 bookcases in Ta Gia Khau.
