Cooperation in trade, economy and culture between the two countries has recently increased. France is ranked the third among the European countries who have invested in Viet Nam.

Besides investment projects, France has also helped Viet Nam in training human resources, said Mr. Le Hoang Quan, chairman of the city’s People’s Committee.

He added that the French enterprises will cooperate with the city to develop infrastructure, education and energy.

The French government will invest in thermo-electric and hydroelectric projects in Viet Nam in coming time, according to Mr. Herve Bolot, the French ambassador to Viet Nam.

A French trade fair and exhibition with participation of more than 160 French entrepreneurs who is running in education, telecommunications, traffic, banking, insurance, fashion, cosmetic and others was inaugurated at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium on the same day.
