First international sculpture camp kicked off in HCMC

Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee launched on August 14 the 2015 HCMC-International culpture camp”, aiming to mark the 70th anniversary of August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).

Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee launched on August 14 the 2015 HCMC-International culpture camp”, aiming to mark the 70th anniversary of August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).

The event is also aimed to contribute to the formation of outdoor art, creation space in HCMC, introduce the city’s image and some remarkable achievements in development and integration as well as attract more local and international visitors to the city.

The event themed “Ho Chi Minh City -40 years of construction, development and integration” will officialy kick off on November 15 at the Ethnic Culture Historical Park in District 9. The organizaton board calls for culputers from ASEAN region and cities in the world to take part in the event.
