Exhibition marks 40 years of South's Liberation Day

An exhibition featuring 100 paintings opened at the 23/9 Park in Ho Chi Minh City on April 10 marking 40th anniversary of reunification of Vietnam (1975-2015) and the late President Ho Chi Minh’s 125th birthday (May 19).

An exhibition featuring 100 paintings opened at the 23/9 Park in Ho Chi Minh City on April 10 marking 40th anniversary of reunification of Vietnam (1975-2015) and the late President Ho Chi Minh’s 125th birthday (May 19).

The display aims to honor glorious history and combats, promote patriotism and national pride in building and protecting the country.

A large-scale project of a documentary film titled “April 30-Reunification day” has been introduced by the People's Army Film Studio under the General Department of Politics in Hanoi on the same day.

In addition, more than 70 art troupes of armed forces, students and the public nationwide will join the 8th national public art festival 2015.

The festival themed “70 years under the national flag” will be held in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho in April and then will be brought to the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa and the northern city of Hai Phong in July.
