It was a real surprise that H’Hen Nie, the ethnic girl of E De group, won the tittle in the grand finale held at Crown Convention Center in the beach city of Nha Trang yesterday.
Hoang Thi Thuy and Mau Thi Thanh Thuy are first and second runner-up respectively.
Nie is 1.72 meters tall with measurement of 84-60-93. She was always in the list of outstanding girls of the competition.
Though she was expected to win the title, Mau Thi Thanh Thuy was just crowned the second runner-up.
Former Miss Universe 2008, Dayana Mendoza, was present as a jury member for the final night of the Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 pageant.
