Dan Tranh performances prserve, promote Vietnamese traditional music

A sixteen-stringed zither (dan tranh) art performance will be held at the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Culture Palace on January 27.

The show will present to music lovers Vietnamese and Japanese folk music performed by Japan’s artists; Meritorious Teacher Pham Thuy Hoan and members from her zither club.
The zither club called Tieng Hat Que Huong which was founded by Meritorious Teacher Pham Thuy Hoan has a mission to preserve, develop and promote Vietnamese traditional music.
The club has frequently organized perfromances every first Sunday of the month at the Wax Museumof Vietnamese Artists.
