Concert presents new Japanese, Vietnamese music

A concert featuring artists, Pho An My and Tran Xuan Hoa will takes place at Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam, in Hanoi tonight.

Pianist Pho An My and percussionist Tran Xuan Hoa will present to music lovers new songs composed by Dang Tue Nguyen and two Japanese songs.
The artists are known through many solo shows, concerts and stage collaborations with other artists. In 2016, they both performed successfully in the “Wind” concert in Hanoi and HCMC
Pho An My graduated from the Hanoi Conservatory of Music and studied piano in Germany for eight years. She is now a pianist lecturer in Nanning in China.
Graduated from Hanoi Music Conservatory, percussionist Tran Xuan Hoa is currently lead percussion player at the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet, and member and co-founder of the quartet Go Group.
The performance is part of the a series of concerts at the garage and courtyard of the Japan Foundation, presenting Japanese, Vietnamese and world music played by Vietnamese musicians.
