The 2017 Ao dai festival will coincide in some places of Ho Chi Minh City from March 3- 17 to honor the Vietnamese traditional dress.

The Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Department said that the event will take place at Nguyen Hue Walking Street, Gem Center, the HCMC Youth Culture House, the HCMC General Sciences Library, War Remnants Museum, the Southern Women's Museum, schools, offices and the city’s districts.
‘Ao dai’ exhibitions and performances will be organized within nearly two week event.
On this occasion, foreign consulates in Vietnam will have a chance to wear the Vietnamese traditional dress- “Ao dai” at an cultural exchange program of “Ao dai- Convergence and Sublimation”.
