A ballet and music performance welcoming the New Year 2017 will take place at the Hanoi Opera House on February 16-17.
Soprano Dao To Loan, baritone Vu Manh Dung, the Vietnam National Opera & Ballet’s Symphony Orchestra, the Hanoi Voices Choir, the Bamboo Ensemble, the Waraku Bamboo Ensemble will join the concert.
The artists will perform musical works by composers, including Sir Edward Elgar, C. Saint-Sean, A. Vivaldi, G. Rossini, P. Tchaikovsky, Mascagni, Grieg, A. Mozart, G. Verdi, and Vietnamese musician Nguyen Ngoc Thien under the baton of conductor Dong Quang Vinh.
Meanwhile the contemporary dance performance titled “Moment” will feature choreographer Nguyen Ngoc Anh and dancers, Meritorious Artist Phan Van Luong, Thu Hue, Hai Ly, Diem Quynh and more.
