ASEAN - Japan Music Festival 2019 held in Hanoi

The music festival titled "ASEAN-Japan Music Festival 2019” with the participation of singers who represent ASEAN countries and Japan will be held for the first time in Vietnam on July 28.

Artists and groups, such as Fakhrul Razi from Brunei, Andien from Indonesia, the NEW & JIEW of Thailand; Vietnamese singers of Noo Phuoc Thinh, Dong Nhi, Trong Hieu; along with Japanese performers Exile Atsushi, Koda Kumi, Miura Daichi will surpass language barriers and show us the importance of peace to people of the world through music at the festival.
The concert themed “Prayer for peace” that will take place at the National Convention Center in the evening is produced by Vietnam Television, the Asia Center - The Japan Foundation, Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Vietnam and Japan, the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism, the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam, Japan-Vietnam Special Ambassador Ryotaro Sugi, who is also Special Ambassador for Japan and ASEAN.
As well as being one of the "Asia in Resonance 2019" programs, this music festival will be also held as a part of the "ASEAN-Japan Day" Commemorative Event that Japan's Prime Minister Abe Shinzo announced to host, at the Japan-ASEAN Summit 2018. The festival is expected to deepen mutual understanding by sharing contemporary Asian pop music, as well as that this opportunity would stimulate collaborative relationship among Asian countries in the future.
