APEC Film Week 2017 to open with Vietnamese film

Vietnamese film My Nhan (The beautiful woman) by director Dinh Thai Thuy will be screened in the opening ceremony of the APEC Film Week that will open in Hanoi on October 11.

The APEC Film Week marking the APEC Vietnam 2017 will be organized in Hanoi on October 11-16 and in the central city of Da Nang from October 12-16.
The event will present to the public 11 films form APEC's Member Economies, including two documentary films Sigo Siendo (I am still here) present by Peru’s director Javier Corcuera, telling the diversity of Peruvian culture, the complexity of the country, its past and its present; and Tsukiji Wonderland, a documentary film about Tokyo's Tsukiji Market, the biggest wholesale seafood market in the world by Japanese director Naotaro Endo.
The film fest aims to connect the cultures of APEC member economies and enhance mutual understanding and build stronger ties of friendship among nations.
