VN desires Mitsubishi to invest in recycled energy

Japan is Vietnam’s leading economic partner, the largest official development assistance (ODA) provider, the fourth largest bilateral trading partner and the biggest investors in Vietnam in 2017. 

Vietnam always respects economic cooperation with Japan; in parallel,  the Japanese investors have had active contributions into Vietnam’s socio- economic development, said PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc. 

However, Japan's foreign direct investment into Vietnam accounted for three percent of Japan’s FDI into Asia, and was lower than Japan’s direct investment in the Southeast Asian countries. 

PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc highly appreciated investment and business activities of Mitsubishi Corporation in Vietnam, and suggested the group to expand its investment in Vietnam in the fields of airport and ports infrastructure, recycled energy and industry, automotive industry and food processing…
